Springdale, AR-After being shutout in the opening game of a doubleheader, 4-0, the Arkansas Travelers responded with an 8-1 victory over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in game two for a clean split. The opener marked the seventh time this season that the Travs have been blanked. They were almost able to return the favor as they came within one out of a shutout in the nightcap. Three pitchers each worked 2.1 innings to hold the Naturals down while Logan Taylor homered, doubled and matched a career-best with four runs driven in.

* Khalil Lee hit the first pitch from Williams Pérez for a homerun and the Travs were behind from the get-go.
* Perez kept it within a run until Nick Dini blasted a two-run homer in the fifth inning.
