Frisco, TX—The Arkansas Travelers rode a stellar pitching performance to a 2-1 victory over the Frisco RoughRiders in the series opener on Tuesday night. With the win, the Travs snapped a five game slide. Levi Stoudt dominated after giving up a soft run in the first inning, working six frames with five strikeouts and no walks. The bullpen covered the final three scoreless innings with Travis Kuhn recorded the final four outs for the save.

Moments That Mattered

* Arkansas took the lead in the third inning when Frisco chose to play the infield back with one out and a runner at third base. That allowed a groundout to shortstop by Jake Scheiner to score Kaden Polcovich with the go-ahead run.

* Frisco put the tying and go-ahead runs on base with two out in the eighth inning but Travis Kuhn came on from the bullpen to get out of the situation and preserve the lead.
