Springdale, AR-The Arkansas Travelers opened a road series against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals with a decisive 10-1 win on Saturday night. It was the third straight win for the Travs.
               Tyler Herb set the tone for the Travs on the mound as he produced seven sensational innings in earning a win for the fifth time in his past six starts. Northwest Arkansas mustered only six hits off Herb and just a single tally in the fifth inning. Herb struck out six and walked just one improving his record to 5-2. Tyler Knigge and Thyago Vieira each worked a perfect inning to close out the game.
               Offensively, the Travs hung 10 runs on the board including three separate frames of three runs apiece. Five of their hits on the night went for extra bases including two from Tyler Marlette, a double and his sixth homer of the season. Chuck Taylor hit his fifth home run, a solo shot while Nelson Ward and Keury De La Cruz each ripped a double. Kyle Waldrop had four hits to pace the team's 15 hit attack with Marlette (three hits), Dario Pizzano (two) and Ward (two) also picking up multi-hit games. Marlette, De La Cruz and Jeff Kobernus each had two runs batted in.
               Arkansas knocked around Naturals starter Ashton Goudeau for seven runs (four earned) on 10 hits over five innings as he took the loss dipping to 2-6 on the year.
               The Travelers look to keep it rolling on Sunday afternoon in Springdale with a 2:05 first pitch. Right-hander Lindsey Caughel (3-7, 5.43) get the ball for Arkansas against righty Zach Lovvorn (3-4, 4.68). The game will be broadcast on the Sports Animal 920, the First Pitch App, TuneIn radio and milb.tv.
