Tulsa, OK—The Arkansas Travelers were relentless in a 15-0 series opening win over the Tulsa Drillers on Tuesday night. With the victory, the Travs are now two games behind Tulsa in the first half division race with 17 to play. Emerson Hancock led three pitchers in a combined five-hit shutout throwing six innings with seven strikeouts. Collin Kober (IP, 2 K) and Jack Parisi (2 IP, 2 K) close out the team’s fourth blanking of the year. The offense scored three times in the first inning, in four of the first five frames overall and in five of the first seven capped by an eight-run seventh inning.

Moments That Mattered

* Jonathan Clase and Logan Warmoth singled and each stole a base to open the game and then Spencer Packard ripped a double to put Arkansas up two runs just three batters into the game.

* The eight run seventh inning put the game out of reach and included a grand slam by Jonatan Clase and a two-run home run by Isiah Gilliam.
