Springdale, AR—The Arkansas Travelers used their best offensive performance of the season and hung on for an 11-10 win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals on Sunday afternoon. The two clubs split the six game series. The Travs posted a season high in hits (16), extra base hits (7) and matched their season best total of four home runs that they had done in the previous game. Every Trav batter had at least one hit with none getting more than two. Arkansas used seven pitchers in the game with Darin Gillies getting the final four outs for his eighth save of the season.

Moments That Mattered

* After the Naturals scored five in the third inning, the Travs answered with five in the top of the fourth capped by a grand slam from Jake Scheiner.

* Gillies staved off a potentially fatal rally in the eighth inning when he came in the with tying and go-ahead runs on base and got a strikeout to end the inning.

* Connor Lien made a leaping catch at the very top of the wall in deepest left-center field for the second out of the ninth inning.
