Twenty Hit Output Sends Isotopes to Victory

The Isotopes (12-15) offense collected a season-high 20 hits to help secure a 12-3 victory over the Rainiers (12-14) in Tacoma. Albuquerque has now won four games in a row, a season-high for the club.

Mike Tauchman and Jordan Patterson led the way offensively for the Isotopes, each recording four hits on the night.
Tauchman ended the evening 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored, finishing the game a home run shy of the cycle.
Patterson reached base in all five of his plate appearances, going 4-for-4 with a walk and three runs scored.
Shawn O'Malley and Stephen Cardullo each connected on three hits during the ball game while Derrik Gibson finished the night 2-for-5 with three RBI and a home run.
Isotopes starter David Holmberg earned his first win of the season after allowing just one run over his 5.0 innings on work on the hill.
The Isotopes go for the series sweep when Brett Oberholtzer takes the hill for Albuquerque in the series finale on Thursday. First pitch from Cheney Stadium is scheduled for 8:05 p.m.
