Bryce Conley picked up the win for the home club, striking out eight over five scoreless innings of relief. Conley has permitted just one run over his last 25.0 innings.

Facing Jimmy Endersby, the Hounds plated a pair in the first and scratched out a marker in the fourth.

In the sixth, eight men came to bat against Layne Henderson. Santos iced the contest with his fifth home run of the year, snapping an 0-for-13 drought in the process.
