University of Dayton to Battle Ohio State on Tuesday Night at Day Air Ballpark

DAYTON, OHIO – The University of Dayton baseball team will play three games in 2022 at Day Air Ballpark in the heart of the Water Street District, headlined by a showdown with the Ohio State Buckeyes tomorrow (April 12)..
Flyers games at Day Air Ballpark are set for April 12 against Ohio State; April 29 against Virginia Commonwealth; and May 13 against Richmond. All three games start at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $5.00 for children (17 and under) and $8.00 for adults. University of Dayton students will be admitted free of charge. Luxury suites are available for $200.00 (seating for 20 fans).
The 2022 Flyers (12-15) won five of their first six games to kick off the season, all while on the road against North Carolina A&T and Evansville. They return first baseman Marcos Pujols, who was named First Team All-Conference in 2021 and is leading the Flyers in home runs with six, while catcher Jay Curtis leads the team in hits and batting average at .291. On the mound, reliever Eli Majick is 3-0 with a 1.47 ERA in 14 appearances.

Ohio State (11-17) is led by infielder Marcus Ernst, who is batting .394 with a .500 on-base percentage. Zach Dezenzo leads Ohio State in home runs with eight.
