The Tri-City ValleyCats walked off on the Hudson Valley Renegades at Joe Bruno Stadium on Wednesday night for an 8-7 win.

Luis Encarnacion's capped a 3-for-4 day at the plate by driving home Alex McKenna with the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Encarnacion's final hit gave the ValleyCats their only lead of the night, as they trailed from the very start of the game.
Hudson Valley scored in six of the game's first seven innings, taking a 7-4 lead into the bottom of the sixth inning.
The ValleyCats would then score two runs in the sixth to put the deficit at one as they continued to chip away throughout the night.
On the pitching end, it was Luis De Paula who proved to be the X-factor for the ValleyCats.
He struck out four batters in a perfect eighth and ninth inning to keep the game within striking distance, earning his first win of the season.
That set the wheels in motion for the ValleyCats' fourth walk-off win of the year.
Carlos Machado brought Enmanuel Valdez home with the tying run, before Luis Encarnacion ended the game with one swing.
Now with a record of 29-22, the ValleyCats maintain their lead over the Lowell Spinners in the Stedler Division.
The ValleyCats and Renegades will return to "The Joe" on Thursday night for the second game of their three-game series, with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m.
