Water Street District to Host Party at the Plaza on Friday, May 9

DAYTON, Ohio -- Water Street District’s Party at the Plaza is back for more fun and excitement at Day Air Ballpark with the first of three events in 2025 prior to the Dragons game on Friday, May 9 against the Great Lakes Loons. The event, which begins at 5:30 pm,

DAYTON, Ohio -- Water Street District’s Party at the Plaza is back for more fun and excitement at Day Air Ballpark with the first of three events in 2025 prior to the Dragons game on Friday, May 9 against the Great Lakes Loons. The event, which begins at 5:30 pm, is set to feature Dragons excitement alongside food trucks, a beer truck from Heidelberg Distributing, and sampling from Starry courtesy of Pepsi Co.

Jeff Stevens from iHeart Radio will host the party, which also entails live music and entertainment skits with the Green Team. Heater, Gem, and Roofman will additionally be in attendance. Fun for all ages is set to be spread throughout the pregame plaza event with inflatables, yard games, cornhole, live animals from Honey Hill Farms, and more.

Water Street District Community members Square One Salon, Tender Mercy + Sueño, Base Camp, and Winan’s will be part of the fun and share the numerous things one can enjoy in the heart of Water Street District. Fans can visit the Water Street District booth and enter to win a premium raffle prize featuring Water Street District fun, Dragons gear, and more. Participants can additionally retrieve a commemorative Water Street District photo at Liftoff Entertainment and learn more about their Pint Path program.

The Dragons and Water Street District encourage fans and downtown residents to visit the plaza between 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm to enjoy the festivities before the game. Learn more about the event at Water Street District’s Facebook, here.
