Water Street District to Host Third Party at the Plaza on Friday

DAYTON, Ohio -- Water Street District will once again bring extra fun and excitement to Day Air Ballpark on Friday, August 23 with their third of three “Party at the Plaza” events in 2024. The party runs from 5:30 to 7:30 pm before the Dragons take on the Cedar Rapids Kernels in game four of a six game series.

The art-themed party will feature live art on the plaza, Dragons excitement, food trucks, and a beer truck from Heidelberg Distributing.

Liftoff Entertainment will provide live music during the event. The Dragons’ award-winning Green Team will additionally be on hand to perform skits. The party also features inflatables, yard games, cornhole, and special art-themed activities for all ages. Participants can additionally enter a raffle for a special Water Street District giveaway.

Water Street Community members, Winan’s, Local Cantina, and Base Camp will be joined by altafiber and the Downtown Dayton Partnership. Heater, Gem, and Roofman will also appear at the party.

“Party at the Plaza” will be back for the 2025 season. Event dates and additional information will be announced in the coming months.
