The Blue Rocks sent out righty Rodney Theophile who dealt a dominant five innings surrendering only four hits, one run and on walk while striking out four BlueClaws.
The sole BlueClaws run came in the top of the fifth on an RBI single from Jersey Shore designated hitter Wilfredo Flores scored Jared Carr from second.

The only real chance for Wilmington runs came in the third innings when TJ White leadoff with a double and Nick Shumpert followed with a single. With Shumpert eventually advancing to second, the Blue Rocks had two runners in scoring position with no outs.
Unfortunately, Marcano worked out of the jam with a strikeout, groundout, and flyout to end the inning without harm.

The BlueClaws bullpen allowed only one hit through the last four innings of the game, providing Marcano his third win of the season.
The Blue Rocks will be off on Monday in preparation for a homestand against the Aberdeen IronBirds beginning Tuesday, June 20th.
