Rattlers Add Hofacker and Cherek to Front Office in Preparation for 2024 Season

GRAND CHUTE, WI – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have hired Michelle Hofacker and Michael Cherek to the front office as final preparations for the fast-approaching 2024 Midwest League season are in full swing. Hofacker has been brought aboard as the team’s content creator. Cherek is the new box office manager.

Hofacker, an Appleton native and recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, joins the Rattlers from the Eau Claire Express after where she was the Director of Marketing for the Northwoods League team. She was a member of the Timber Rattlers Promo Crew in 2021 and 2022.

She will work with the marketing department to produce video content that will promote games, events, and the Timber Rattlers for the team’s social media channels. Hofacker will also engage fans and provide a unified message on those platforms.

Cherek, who hails from East Troy, has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. He has worked as a Ticket Sales and Operations Assistant at Peoria Sports Complex, the Spring Training home of the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners in Arizona and as a ticketing intern for the Green Bay Packers.

His duties as the box office manager include overseeing all ticket operations in the box office and customer service with individual season ticket and mini-package ticket holders along with selling and coordinating group outings.

The 2024 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers season begins with a game against the Peoria Chiefs at Neuroscience Group Field on Friday, April 5. Game time is 6:40pm.

Individual tickets plus full-season, half-season, mini-plan, and flex packages for the 2024 season are available online through timberrattlers.com, over the phone at (920) 733-4152, or in person at the Timber Rattlers Box Office located at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. The box office is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
