A 4-3 deficit turned into a 10-3 hole in the blink of an eye, as New Orleans hit three two-run home runs in the seventh inning. Memphis gave up a total of five runs on its five-game winning streak. Despite the loss, Memphis has still won 11 of its last 14 games.
Wisdom extended his hitting streak to 16 games with an RBI single in the first inning, and he finished 2-for-4 with a run scored. He is hitting .424 (25-59) during his streak, and his batting average has risen from .256 to .311.
Wisdom's 16-game streak is tied for the sixth-longest in Redbirds history.
