Spokane, Wash. - Major League Baseball announced today the full 25-man rosters for the 2022 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, with Indians outfielder Zac Veen and former Spokane shortstop Ezequiel Tovar selected to represent the Colorado Rockies on the National League squad.

Veen ranks as Colorado's top prospect - and 24th best in all of baseball - after being picked 9th overall in the 2020 MLB First-Year Draft out of Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Florida. The 20-year-old has the spent the entirety of the 2022 season with the Indians and currently leads the Northwest League in walks (40), runs (53), and stolen bases (33) while also ranking among the top 10 in home runs (10), RBIs (49), OBP (.374), SLG (.467), OPS (.841), hits (69), doubles (15), and total bases (120).

Tovar has put together a tremendous season for the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats after a strong showing in spring training with the Rockies, hitting at a .309 clip with 11 home runs and 54 RBIs while continuing to provide Gold Glove quality defense at shortstop. The 20-year-old native of Venezuela appeared in 32 games with Spokane last season and is currently listed by MLB Pipeline as the 58th best prospect in baseball.

The two squads combined for 17 internationally born players representing six different countries and territories outside the 50 United States. The Dominican Republic is represented by six players, followed by five players from Venezuela, three players from Cuba, and one apiece from Australia, Canada and Curaçao.

Two-time World Series champion with the Los Angeles Dodgers and World Series-winning skipper Mike Scioscia will manage the NL Futures squad, while fellow World Series champion and 2007 NL Most Valuable Player Jimmy Rollins will be at the helm in the AL dugout.

The seven-inning American vs. National League game will take place at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, July 16 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. It will be broadcast live on Peacock and SiriusXM, with MLB Network producing the telecast and re-airing the game at 9 a.m. ET on Sunday. Scott Braun (play-by-play), Yonder Alonso (analyst), Jim Callis (analyst) and A.J. Andrews (reporter) will be on the call.
