SPRINGDALE, Ark - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are excited to announce Arkansas Children's Northwest (ACNW) Fan Days, a series of four special games during the 2018 season that will bring together Naturals players and fans with ACNW patients and families. Sponsored by J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc., ACNW Fan Days will be on Friday, May 11; Friday, May 25; Friday, June 29; and Friday, August 10.
During each game, the Naturals will host the first-ever ACNW Fan Waves, an effort to show support and encouragement for those at ACNW.
At the conclusion of the first inning, the Naturals organization, team mascots, and J.B. Hunt employees will lead the crowd in a friendly wave toward the hospital. Players and coaches from each team will emerge from the dugouts to tip their caps and wave as well. Patients and families at Arkansas Children's Northwest will be gathered to view the ballpark and wave back toward the crowd.
