Bobbleheads, Star Wars, Concerts & More On Tap at Werner Park in 2019

After revealing the weekly promotions for the 2019 campaign, the Omaha Storm Chasers are excited to announce their slate of daily promotions, theme nights, special appearances and performances for the upcoming season. Single-game tickets for the upcoming season will be available beginning on March 11.

GIVEAWAYS
The Storm Chasers' 2019 giveaways are highlighted by four bobblehead giveaway nights. All giveaways are for the first 1,000 fans to enter Werner Park unless otherwise stated.

SPECIALTY JERSEY AUCTIONS
Storm Chasers players and coaches will don a number of specialty jerseys during the 2019 season, which will be worn and auctioned off during that day's game to support local charities.

THEME NIGHTS
The Storm Chasers will offer several fun theme nights throughout 2019. The Force will be even stronger at Werner Park thanks to not one but TWO Star Wars Nights on back-to-back nights on May 4 and 5. After debuting in 2018, the Omaha Runzas will take the field once again in 2019, with Runza Night set for Saturday, June 8.

PERFORMANCES & SPECIAL APPEARANCES
In addition to fun theme nights, the Storm Chasers will also welcome special guests and performances at Werner Park throughout the season, including a post-game country concert on July 26 and Faith & Family Night with a post-game concert performance on July 27. Artists for these two nights will be announced later this month.

INDEPENDENCE & MEMORIAL DAY FIREWORKS
"The Biggest Fireworks in the Omaha Metro" return to Werner Park from July 4-5 for Independence Fireworks presented by First National Bank, including the 51st Annual First National Bank Independence Fireworks Spectacular on July 4. The Storm Chasers will also have a special Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks Extravaganza on May 26.
FAN FAVORITE PROMOTIONS

• Wiener Wednesday with Bark in the Park: Back once again by popular demand are Wiener Wednesday and Bark at the Park, with a record NINE dates in 2019. Full-size hot dogs will once again be available at Werner Park on these dates for 25 cents each. Man's best friend will also be welcome to join their owners to sit on the McDonald's Berm to watch a ballgame.
• Thirsty Thursday: Every Thursday night home date will feature $2 Budweiser, Bud Light and Busch Light, along with the new, exciting addition of Nebraska Brewing Company's Ale Storm beer, as well as $1 Pepsi Fountain drinks
• Sizzle Nights: Storm Chasers players and coaches will don Omaha Sizzle jerseys at five Thursday evening contests.
• Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks: The skies will ignite following every Friday night home contest at Werner Park with a fireworks spectacular presented by Hy-Vee.
• Bands & Brews presented by Werner Enterprises: Fans will be able to enjoy drink specials and live music prior to five Saturday evening home games at the Bud Light Downdraught for one hour from the time gates open on those respective nights.
• Family FUNday: Sunday home games will feature clowns and balloon artists, with kids able to run the bases after the game as part of Hardee's Kids Run the Bases following most Sunday home dates. The ParentSavvy.com Play Catch on the Field presented by Raising Canes also returns for six Sunday contests, with fans able to play catch on the field, with gates opening 80 minutes before that day's first pitch.

Following the 2019 Royals Exhibition Game presented by Cobalt Credit Union on March 25, the Storm Chasers begin their regular season slate at Werner Park with Opening Night on Tuesday, April 9 at Werner Park against the Oklahoma City Dodgers at 6:35 p.m.
