The Omaha Storm Chasers will host the First National Bank 2015 Triple-A Baseball All-Star Game this July, with the 29th Triple-A All-Star Game being played at Werner Park on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. In addition to the All-Star Game, All-Star festivities are highlighted by four days of events starting with the celebrity All-Star Fan Fest, Triple-A Home Run Derby, and the SAC Federal Credit Union Spotlight Luncheon. The Omaha Storm Chasers are looking for unpaid volunteers to assist with events surrounding the presentation of the First National Bank 2015 Triple-A All-Star Game. Steps to become a Volunteer:

Fill out the online registration form
Graduate through Selection Process
Attend the volunteer information session (date, time, and location to be confirmed)
Attend an orientation in July (date and time to be confirmed)

All Omaha Storm Chasers Triple-A All-Star Game Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older (as of June 30, 2015) and will be required to sign a release of liability, waiver of class or collective action claims and grant of publicity rights, and an agreement to arbitrate claims and eligibility form. By continuing to complete and submit this registration form, you hereby agree to be subject to a background check in order to determine your eligibility to be a Triple-A Baseball All-Star Volunteer. All volunteer opportunities are unpaid and do not entitle the volunteer to any employment benefits.

Volunteer Opportunities

Celebrity All-Star Fan Fest
Free Event open to public. Highlighted by Celebrity Softball Game to benefit a TBD Charity. Parking Lot opens at 2pm with live music, craft beer stands, Budweiser Brewmaster Tour Display, Inflatables, Mobile Gaming Display, Entertainment Acts like Clowns, Face painting, Jugglers, etc. Gates Open at 4pm for Softball Game, tours of Ballpark, and celebrity Autograph session.Triple-A Home Run Derby and Post-Game Fireworks
Derby features three participants from each Triple-A League (International League & Pacific Coast League) plus two Nebraska-based High School Aged participants from who will have qualified at events at Werner Park on 5/23, 5/24 and 6/6. Derby also features In-Game Entertainment from an "Extreme Pogo Stunt" group, the Omaha Street Percussion and will be DJ'd live from a Power 106.9 DJ. Derby is regionally broadcasted on Cox Sports TV. Excursion Day for Club Execs, Media Day & All-Star Gala at Henry Doorly Zoo
Private Excursions for Triple-A Club Executives throughout the day including trips to the Werner Lodge, Golf, Durham Museum and Lauritzen Gardens. Open Media Day includes public workouts and Autograph Opportunities at Werner Park. Private Gala is held at Henry Doorly Zoo with a cocktail hour at The Infield in tribute to the site of Rosenblatt Stadium. Spotlight Luncheon ft. George Brett & 29th Annual Triple-A All-Star Game & Post-Game Fireworks

Tabled Luncheon at the Embassy Suites in La Vista. Public Invitations are TBD. Keynote speaker is Hall of Famer George Brett, Warren Buffett participation TBD. Gates Open for game at 5pm. Triple-A All-Star Game alumni include Derek Jeter, HOFer Pedro Martinez, Chipper Jones, Mike Piazza, Jim Thome, Andrew McCutchen, and Alex Gordon. Game is nationally televised on MLB Network.

Triple-A Baseball Transportation
As a transportation volunteer you will assist Omaha Storm Chasers Triple-A All-Star transportation vendors in directing MiLB Guests, VIPs and staff to events throughout the city. You will not be a driver, but will assist at the transportation pick up/drop off locations and direct guests to their final destinations.

Hotels & Hospitality
The Omaha Storm Chasers staff works closely with the local hotels to assist baseball fans from across the country who attend the festivities surrounding the Triple-A All-Star Game. As part of the volunteer program, local volunteers help guide guests, distribute gift bags and assist staff members in hospitality rooms for VIP guests.
