Spotlight Concession Item of the Month: Poley's Philly Grill

OMAHA, Neb. - After winning the Triple-A National Championship in his first season at the helm of his hometown Omaha Storm Chasers, Werner Park concessionaire Ovations was inspired to dedicate one of the premiere specialty items to Brian Poldberg. Thus, "Poldberg's Philly Grill" was born.

It took nearly 1,000 wins as a manager for Poldberg to earn the honor, a milestone he reached in July, and the cart located between Section 111 and Section 113 honors the three Minor League Championships he has won across three different levels with a trio of distinct "Poley" sandwiches. 

The "Reuben Poley" consists of corned beef, American swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Thousand Island Dressing and a Rye Hoagie from Rotella's Italian Bakery. Also available at the cart are traditional Philly sandwiches with the "Chicken Poley" and the "Beef Poley." Each sandwich has a price of $8.00.

The Storm Chasers return to Werner Park this Tuesday with a jam-packed four-game homestand. It features the second "Bark in the Park Night" on 5 Cent Wiener Wednesday, "Thirsty Thursday" and Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks on ParentSavvy.com's "Mommy & Minion Night" to finish the week.
