Roy Oswalt Start and Borsheims Diamond Dig Highlight Homestand

PAPILLION, Neb. - The Omaha Storm Chasers will do battle with the Round Rock Express, the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, for four games from June 7 - 10.

Thursday, June 7 (7:05 pm): The final series of Omaha's twelve game homestand begins as the Storm Chasers welcome the Round Rock Express back to Werner Park for a four-game series. It's Thirsty Thursday ™ presented by Icon Medical Research so fans can enjoy $1.00 Bud Light draws and $1.00 Busch Light cans prior to the sixth inning and $1 Pepsi products all night. Thursday's game between the Storm Chasers and the Express will be televised on Metro Sports throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri & Kansas. Thirsty Thursday ™ is brought to you by our good friends at Icon Medical Research, Action 3, 96.1 The Brew and The Reader.

Friday, June 8 (7:05 pm): Be sure to come down to the Werner Park ticket office to purchase your tickets to see the post-game fireworks presented by American Family Insurance. Be sure to visit www.omahastormchasers.com, sign up to be the American Family Insurance Family of the Game, and you could be called as the winner of free tickets to the game, a first pitch, a jersey, or to be the starter of the postgame fireworks show. Saturday, June 9 (7:05 pm): Autism Action Partnership presents Breakin' BBoy McCoy. BBoy McCoy, the entertaining Bat Boy, excites the crowd with his exciting dance moves. Also throughout the game, fans will have an opportunity to bid on puzzle looking jerseys that will be worn during Saturday's game, signed by the players who wore them and auctioned off after the game with the all the proceeds going to the Autism Action Partnership. It is also Boy Scout and NAIFA nights. Plus, it is our first of four Kimberly Clark/Carpenter Paper Huggies Diaper Derbies. If your baby cannot walk but can really crawl, contact Ben at (402) 738-5106 for this exciting pre-game race opportunity. Sunday, June 10 (2:05 pm): It's the third annual Diamond Dig presented by Borsheims. The first 200 women to sign up at Borsheims' table will get the opportunity to dig for diamonds in the infield with a spoon after the game. Prizes include three pairs of crystal Swarovski earrings, a diamond pendant, one pair of diamond stud earrings and are valued over $6,000. Plus, with a $10 donation to Project Harmony, you can get a 10 second head start to digging success. Also, it's U.S. Bank Family Fun Day and Huerter Orthodontics Lil' Chasers Club Day. Enjoy clowns, face painters and balloon artists presented by Fat Brain Toys, Omaha Storm Chasers baseball and free pre-game player autographs on the field in front of Storm Chasers dugout. Huerter Orthodontics Lil Chasers Club Members get in for free. Following the Express and Storm Chasers game, all kids get to run the bases with Stormy presented by Hardees. Plus, it is Sam's Club canned food day. Everyone who brings a canned good item gets a free McDonald's grass berm ticket. All items collected will benefit The Open Door Mission.
