"Cheer Fest" and Helping Local Charities to Happen Over Eight-Day Stretch

OMAHA, Neb. - During the season of giving, the Storm Chasers will do their part to help give back to the community the week of December 10-14. The Storm Front Team Store will be open from noon to 5 pm each of those days and 10 % of all sales in-store will be donated to different charities. A special online code that can be used by visiting http://stormchasers.milbstore.com will also provide cyber shoppers the opportunity to contribute to their organization of choice without having to visit to Werner Park.

"We are always looking for ways to help out in our community and this year we decided to partner with five great charities during the holiday season," said Storm Chasers Director of Community Relations Andrea Stava.

The Storm Chasers will ring in the holiday season with the inaugural "Chasers Cheer Fest" at Werner Park on Saturday, December 8. The event will run from 10 am to 5 pm and include a Holiday Happy Hour from 2 pm to 5 pm with free food, Pepsi products and a wine tasting. The Storm Front Team Store will also feature a 25 % discount on full-price merchandise.

Game-worn jerseys by the likes of Wil Myers, Jake Odorizzi, Clint Robinson, Irving Falu and Johnny Giavotella among others will be on sale for the first time in franchise history and could make an extra special holiday gift for the Storm Chasers fan in your family.

Another "Cheer Fest" on Saturday, December 15 from 10 am to 5 pm bookends the week-long holiday celebration and charity drive. It will feature free photos with Santa and Stormy from 10 am to noon as well as free donuts and milk.
