Homestand Highlights: April 7-10
The Storm Chasers' 5th Anniversary Season at Werner Park kicks off with an action-packed eight-game homestand against the New Orleans Zephyrs and Round Rock Express beginning on Thursday, April 7. Included among the festivities are the pre-game Kansas City Royals World Series Pennant and Ring Ceremony on Opening Night and Thirsty Thursday, Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks, a pre-game performance from Omaha Street Percussion and the first 5th Anniversary Season Poster Giveaway.

OPENING NIGHT / THIRSTY THURSDAY - Thursday April 7 at 7:05 p.m.
The 2016 season begins with Opening Night, with the first 1,500 fans through the gates receiving a Storm Chasers Magnet Schedule. Before the game the Storm Chasers will honor the 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals with a World Series Pennant and Ring Ceremony. It's also the first Thirsty Thursday of the season, with $2 Bud and Bug Light cans available, in addition to $2 drafts. Pepsi fountain products will also be available for only $1.

HY-VEE FRIDAY FIREWORKS - Friday April 8 at 7:05 p.m.
The skies will ignite with a post-game fireworks spectacular presented by Hy-Vee as part of the first Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks night of the season. In addition DJ Hot Boy from Power 106.9 will be at the Bud Light Downdraught starting at 6:30 p.m.

MAGNET SCHEDULE GIVEAWAY/OMAHA STREET PERCUSSION - Saturday April 9 at 2:05 p.m.
The first 1,500 fans through the gates on will receive a Storm Chasers Magnet Schedule Giveaway. That afternoon will also feature a pre-game performance and several in-game performances from a fan favorite, the Omaha Street Percussion as part of the first Saturday Spectacular.

5TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON POSTER GIVEAWAY- Sunday April 10 at 2:05 p.m.
The year-long celebration of the Storm Chasers' 5th Anniversary Season at Werner Park will include the first of five Poster Giveaways, with the first 1,000 fans through the gates receiving a poster commemorating a top moment from each season, beginning with 2011. U.S. Bank Family FUNday also features clowns, balloon artists, face painting and live animals from the Wildlife Encounter. The Hardee's Post-Game Kids Run The Bases will also take place after the game, allowing fans 12 or younger to circle the same bases as Storm Chasers players. Fans can also bring two Hy-Vee labeled canned food items and receive one FREE McDonald's Berm Ticket.

The homestand will continue from April 11-14 with a four-game series that will be highlighted by Chasers Charities All About Kids Day, the first Weiner Wednesday with Bark in the Park Night at Werner Park and another Thirsty Thursday evening.
