Geneva, IL - The Peoria Chiefs and Kane County Cougars were rained out on Wednesday night in Geneva and will attempt to play a double header at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Both games will be scheduled for seven innings and Thursday is the final scheduled meeting between the two teams in the first half of the season.

   Game one of the double header features Chiefs All-Star RHP Jordan Hicks (7-1, 3.34) against Cougars RHP Curtis Taylor (0-4, 3.73). The nightcap features Chiefs LHP Ian Oxnevad (0-7, 4.04) against Cougars All-Star RHP Jon Duplantier (6-0, 0.95).
   Wednesday's rain out is the sixth this season for the Chiefs, third on the road and first since May 4 at Lansing. The double header Thursday will be the fourth of the season for the Chiefs and each of the first three have resulted in splits. Kane County has only played one double header so far this season as they earned a sweep at Beloit on May 15.
