Homestand Highlights April 21 - 27

April 17, 2014

The second homestand of the 2014 season starts on Monday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m., against the Cedar Rapids Kernels (Minnesota Twins) for a four-game series. The final three games of the series are scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The homestand wraps up with a three game series with the Quad Cities River Bandits (Houston Astros) starting on Friday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. The final two games of the series will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Details of the promotions featured for the six game homestand are featured below:

Monday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m.; Half Price Mondays:

It's our first Half Price Monday of the 2014 season. All fans get half-price tickets; $5 Club Box or $3.50 lawn seats. This promotion will be for all Monday home games during the regular season.

 

Tuesday, April 22 at 6:30 pm; Taco Bell Tuesdays  & Silver Sluggers Tuesday Presented by Humana and:

It's Taco Bell Tuesday's meaning if you have purchased a Doritos Locos Taco the week prior to any Tuesday Chiefs home game, you can use your receipt as a voucher for a free ticket with the purchase of a Chiefs box seat ticket. Members of the Silver Sluggers program receive free admission to Tuesday home games, two vouchers so you can bring you grandkids to a Chiefs game, and a chance to throw out the first pitch of a game.

 

Wednesday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m.; Dollar Dog Wins-Days and D.A.R.E Day:

Hot dogs, ice cream sandwiches, and sodas are all on sale for just $1. Dollar Dog Wins-Days presented by Eisenberg also means it's Chiefs Guaranteed Win Night. A free ticket to a future Monday-Wednesday game is guaranteed if the Chiefs lose. The Chiefs are giving complimentary tickets and a meal for the students who are part of the D.A.R.E Program for D.A.R.E Day! The complimentary meal consists of a hot dog, chips, and a drink. Gates will open at 9:30 am.

 

Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 pm; Thirsty Thursdays Sponsored by Brewers Distributing Company 98.5 KISS-FM and The REAL PEORIA and College Night:

12-ounce domestic draft beers and fountain drinks are both on sale for only $1. It's College Night! Make sure to support your favorite college by wearing any of their apparel to the Chiefs game. Tickets will only be $3 by showing a valid college ID.

 

Friday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m.; Homer's Reading Program:

Homer's Reading Program is a free incentive based program that encourages your school's children to read and have fun doing it. Each child who reached their reading goal in the program earns a free ticket, hot dog, and soda when attending the game. There will be a pre-game parade around the field 45 minutes prior to game time led by Homer. Kids are encouraged to make fun posters for the parade.

 

Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m.; Carson Kelly OYO Giveaway & Hockey Night:

The first1000 fans get a Carson Kelly OYO from OYO SportsToys. It's Hockey night at Dozer Park! Fans who wear a hockey jersey to the Chiefs game will receive tickets for only $5 and the Chiefs will hand out Patrick Kane & Jonathan Toews posters while supplies last!

 

Sunday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m.; Kids Eat Free Sundays Presented by PNC & Homer Growth Chart Giveaway Presented by CityLink and:

A Homer Growth Chart presented by CityLink will be given to the first 1,000 kids in attendance who are 12 and under. Tickets for kids age 12 and under will be only $5. Kids 12 & under will also receive a free hot dog, bag of chips, and drink courtesy of PNC. Kids, age 12 and under, will also get the chance to run the bases at the conclusion of the game. Sundays also feature all fans being able to participate in playing catch on the field before the game, so make sure to bring your glove and a ball.
