Chiefs Hosting PSC Job Fairs
PEORIA, IL - Want to work in an exciting and fun-filled atmosphere this summer? Professional Sports Catering and the Peoria Chiefs are hosting two food service job fairs to fill a variety of positions for the upcoming Midwest League season. The job fairs will be Thursday, February 21 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Both job fairs will be held at Peoria Chiefs Stadium, located at 730 SW Jefferson in downtown Peoria.
Among the more than 100 jobs open at the job fair are: Concessions cashiers, catering/suite servers and runners, picnic workers, cooks and culinary/kitchen staff. Interested parties should be prepared to fill out a job application at the job fair and be ready to interview with staff members from PSC at that time. For more information call 309-680-4026.
While the two job fairs are run by PSC and specifically for food, beverage and serving positions, the Peoria Chiefs and PSC combined hire 200-250 total employees each summer to staff the 70 Midwest League baseball games and numerous other events at the ballpark. In addition to the full-time staff at Peoria Chiefs Stadium, part-time jobs include: ushers, ticket takers, box office associates, maintenance, grounds crew, interns, clubhouse attendants, batboys and various other game day employees.
