Signed by Detroit as a non-drafted free agent on July 2, 2008... this is Dixon's second stint with the Cubs ... his first was a one-year minor league contract in 2019... he played all of 2019 with Iowa before electing free agency at the end of the season and signing with Lotte of the KBO league.

2021

Appeared in 133 games in the KBO League in 2021, his second season with the Lotte Giants... He finished the season tied for second in stolen bases (8), third in runs scored (83), and fourth in hits (130) and walks (58) while hitting .281.

2020

Played 2020 with the Lotte Giants of the KBO League ... batted .280 (136 H/486 AB) while recording 31 doubles, 12 home runs, 67 RBI, and 15 stolen bases in 144 games... He paced the team in stolen bases, was tied for the lead in games played, ranked third in doubles and runs scored (79) and fourth in hits and home runs.

2019

Spent all of the 2019 season with Triple-A Iowa ... in 102 games, he hit .261 with 19 doubles, 17 home runs, and 65 RBI...He ranked second on Iowa in RBI - one behind the team leader, third in walks (54), and tied for third in home runs.

2018

Played in 67 games with Detroit during the 2018 season, hitting .206 with 20 runs scored, 13 doubles, one triple, one home run, and 21 RBI...Tied a career high with three RBI on March 30 vs. Pittsburgh, going 2-for-6 with two doubles...Belted the first walk-off home run of his career on April 18 vs. Baltimore.

Spent the majority of the 2015 season with Triple-A Toledo -- hit .261 (133-for-509) with 61 runs scored, 22 doubles, one triple, four home runs and 48 RBI for the Mud Hens. Selected to the International League's midseason and postseason All-Star Team. Named a Tigers Organizational All-Star by MiLB.com. Began the season by hitting safely in 11 of his first 12 games -- batted .408 (20-for-49) with eight runs scored, two doubles and 10 RBI during the stretch. Hit .317 (26-for-82) with 12 runs scored, two doubles, one home run and 13 RBI in the month of April for Toledo. Recalled from Triple-A Toledo by the Tigers on May 24. Made his major league debut on May 25 at Oakland, getting the start at shortstop and going 0-for-3. Collected the first hit of his major league career on May 27 at Oakland with a sixth inning single off of Sean Doolittle. Optioned to Triple-A Toledo by the Tigers on May 28. Hit a grand slam and drove in a season-high five runs vs. Syracuse on June 10. Recalled from Triple-A Toledo by the Tigers on July 17. Optioned to Triple-A Toledo by the Tigers on July 18. Recalled from Triple-A Toledo by the Tigers on September 4. Recorded first multi-hit game of his major league career in game two on September 13 at Cleveland...also recorded his first RBI with a RBI double.
