2018
♦ In first professional season, went 0-2 with a 1.40 ERA in nine games (eight starts) with the GCL Orioles. Struck out 20 batters in 19.1 innings, allowing just three earned runs.
♦ Limited to 2.0 innings in first five games. Recorded seven strikeouts over 9.0 innings while allowing six hits in July.
♦ Made three starts of 3.0 innings in August. Struck out five batters on 8/21 vs GCL Red Sox in his final outing of the season.

♦ Selected by Baltimore in the first round (11th overall pick) of the 2018 draft.
♦ Originally committed to play baseball at Texas A&M University when drafted by Baltimore.
♦ Graduated from Central Heights High School in Nacogdoches, TX. Led his team to a 3A State Championship his junior year, going 14-1 with a 0.38 ERA that season. Named the Texas Sports Writer's Association Player of the year in 2017.
