Modern Woodmen Park will open gates for Red, White and Boom

Admission is only $5 with proceeds benefiting good causes

Modern Woodmen Park will be open to the public for the City of Davenport's Red, White and Boom fireworks show on Sunday, July 3. The ballpark is a great venue to catch the annual fireworks spectacular over the Mississippi River with the Centennial Bridge providing a scenic backdrop for the patriotic show.

Admission is just $5 with all proceeds getting split between the Keith Lucier Memorial Scholarship Fund and Genesis Flu Free Quad Cities. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday with a special softball game taking place at 6:30 p.m. featuring the Rock Island Police and Fire Departments taking on the Davenport guns and hoses squad. Fans can enjoy ballpark concessions at normal ballpark pricing.

Bring out the whole family for an evening of fun, plus, kids 12 and under get in free! They can have fun in the Kids Zone which will be open for business with normal game day pricing for the activities.

The park will remain open for an evening of summer fun until 9:30 p.m.
