DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The Quad Cities River Bandits shut out the Beloit Snappers, 5-0, Tuesday night to complete a sweep of the Snappers and win their eighth straight game; the longest win streak of 2017 for Quad Cities.
Cameron got the Bandits (30-15, 67-46) on the board with a three-run blast in the first inning, his thirteenth homer of the season. The Bandits hit at least one home run in all four games against Beloit (24-20, 56-57) and hit six overall homers during the sweep.
That was plenty of offense for Javier (1-0), who allowed just two hits over five hitless innings.
The Bandits have an off day Wednesday before opening a four-game set in Cedar Rapids, Iowa against the Kernels on Thursday. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. CT with
