VERO BEACH, Fla. (April 15, 2018) - Sunday's game between the St. Lucie Mets and Dunedin Blue Jays was suspended due to unplayable field conditions.
The Blue Jays 6-0 lead in the top of the fourth. The game will be resumed when the teams meet again on June 18 in Dunedin. The game will be played through nine innings. A seven-inning game will follow.
Sunday's game was the fifth annual Jackie Robinson Celebration Game. It was being played at Holman Stadium in Historic Dodgertown.
Fans with tickets to Sunday's game can exchange those tickets for any other non-fireworks St. Lucie home game in 2018. Tickets must be exchanged at the First Data Field box office.
The Mets (6-4) are off on Monday. They return to the diamond on Tuesday when they visit the Florida Fire Frogs. First pitch from Osceola County Stadium is set for 6:31 p.m.
