Hansel Robles tossed six strong innings and Dustin Lawley hit a grand slam in a six-run sixth inning as the Mets defeated the Charlotte Stone Crabs 13-3 on Tuesday at Tradition Field.
Cam Maron had three hits and three RBIs, Aderlin Rodriguez homered and drove in two runs, and Matt Reynolds drove in two runs to help pace the Mets offense.
Robles allowed just three runs and four hits over six innings with two walks and three strikeouts.
Estarlin Morel tossed two scoreless innings and Wanel Mesa pitched a scoreless ninth.
The Mets host the Charlotte Stone Crabs on Wednesday at Tradition Field at 6:30 p.m. Marcos Camarena will make his first start of the season for the Mets.
