JUPITER, Fla. (May 12, 2017) - The Jupiter Hammerheads used two big hits to pull away from the St. Lucie Mets 6-2 on Friday at Roger Dean Stadium.
 
John Silviano crushed a two-run double off of Adam Atkins in the fifth inning to extend a 2-0 lead to 4-0. In the eighth, Dexter Kjerstad knocked a two-out, two-run single against Johnny Magliozzi to open up a 6-1 lead for the Hammerheads.
 
Jupiter starting pitcher Trevor Richards limited the Mets to one run on three hits over six innings.
 
Patrick Mazeika and John Mora had two hits apiece for the Mets. Mora extended his hitting streak to nine games.
 
The Mets, who went 0 for 12 with runners in scoring position on Thursday, started Friday 0 for 6 with RISP until Jhoan Urena laced a two-out RBI single in the ninth to make it 6-2.
 
Mets starter Nabil Crismatt gave up one earned run in four innings.
 
Enmanuel Zabala went 2 for 4 with a run.
