Spokane, WA - Spokane Indians Youth Baseball (SIYB) has been selected by Digital Academy (MLBDA), the official online youth baseball instructional academy for Major League Baseball, as an inaugural Pro Partner for the 2014 Season. SIYB was one of 15 youth programs selected in the nation.

As a MLBDA Pro Partner, every player on every team in the league will receive a one-year membership to the Players Clubhouse, which includes an array of perks from articles, videos and a magazine subscription. Plus, each player will also receive a four-pack of myHits swing analysis which provides the opportunity for kids to compare their swing side-by-side to today's MLB stars.

"Being recognized as one of the top 15 youth programs in the nation is an unbelievable honor," said SIYB President Dana Richardson. "The benefits and perks that each youth player will receive is absolutely fantastic. It's consistent with the type of quality instruction our league provides its players."

In addition, every coach in the league will receive a one-year membership to the MLBDA Coaches Corner, an online resource center providing practice planners, instructional resources and team management capabilities.

Integration of MLBDA has already been completed within SIYB's website ( and includes access to the player and coach benefits on the top right of the home page. Coaches will be given player packets that include sign-up material for players to access the given content.
