FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 19, 2018) - Saturday's game between the St. Lucie Mets and Fort Myers Miracle at Hammond Stadium was suspended due to rain.
The Miracle hold a 2-0 lead with two outs in the top of the third. Andrés Giménez is at third base and Kevin Kaczmarski is at the plate with a 3-2 count.
The game will be resumed at 1 p.m. on Sunday. It will be completed through nine innings. There will be a seven-inning game 30 minutes later to complete the three-game series.
The first three Miracle batters of the game singled off of Mets starter Gabriel Llanes. Mark Contreras scored on a wild pitch. Travis Blankenhorn hit a RBI single.
Llanes settled down to retire the next six batters he faced.
Miracle starter Brady Anderson was cruising until Gimenez hit a two-out double in the third right before the rain delay.
The start of Saturday's game was delayed by 42 minutes because of rain.
