Former Storm Abound In WBC

10 of 16 teams in international tourney feature Storm alums

The Lake Elsinore Storm are well represented at the World Baseball Classic in 2017, with at least one former Storm on the roster of 10 of the 16 participating teams.   All total, 19 alumni are on the global stage for this international tournament, including two of the four teenagers playing in the event: Luis Urias and Josh Naylor. On the coaching front, the manager of Team Puerto Rico is Edwin Rodriguez, a former Florida Marlins skipper who was recently named Storm manager for the upcoming season. Below is a list of former Storm stars competing in the 2017 WBC.
