LAS VEGAS, NV – The Tacoma Rainiers (13-8) allowed seven runs over the last four innings they played, losing the series finale to the Las Vegas Aviators (9-11) by a score of 7-5, Sunday at Las Vegas Ballpark.

Brian Anderson continued his hot hitting and got Tacoma on the board with a solo home run in the second inning. In his first appearance of the year, Bryan Woo needed just the lone run of support, as he spun three perfect innings.

The right-hander struck out five of the nine batters he faced, throwing 25 of his 35 pitches for strikes. Tacoma held their 1-0 lead until the seventh, when Las Vegas scored two runs on an RBI triple from Carlos Perez and an RBI double from Daz Cameron.

Ryan Bliss used an RBI triple of his own in the eighth to tie the game and came around to score on a sacrifice fly from Cade Marlowe. The Aviators quickly tied the game in their half of the eighth on an RBI double from Tyler Soderstrom.

The two teams continued to trade blows, as Michael Chavis and Perez each clubbed solo home runs in the ninth inning, sending it to extras tied 4-4. With runners on second and third in the 10th inning, Anderson delivered a sacrifice fly to give the Rainiers a 5-4 lead, but Samad Taylor was thrown out at the plate trying to score from second base.

Trailing by one and down to their final out, Perez came up huge again for Las Vegas, clubbing a three-run walk-off home run to hand Tacoma their fourth straight loss.
