SMOKIES RELEASE 2019 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

Smokies to Feature Theme Nights, Giveaways, Appearances, Fireworks and More for 2019

SEVIERVILLE - The Tennessee Smokies have announced their 2019 promotional schedule for the upcoming season. The team also announced that individual game tickets will go on sale on March 13 at 10:00 AM on all platforms offered by the Smokies. SEVIERVILLE - The Tennessee Smokies have announced their 2019 promotional schedule for the upcoming season. The team also announced that individual game tickets will go on sale on March 13 at 10:00 AM on all platforms offered by the Smokies. The promotional schedule includes 13 firework shows throughout the season, theme nights, and giveaway nights for fans to enjoy throughout the 2019 season.
The season will kickoff with an exhibition game against Walters State Community College on Wednesday, April 3rd. Tickets for this event will also be available beginning on March 13th along with the remainder of the games for the 2019 Smokies season.
The firework shows will be featured on Friday and Saturday's in the Summer Firework Series presented by Coors Light and Pepsi. The Summer Firework Series will send fireworks into the sky every Friday and Saturday beginning May 24 until July 26. In addition, the Smokies will also have Firework Shows on May 4, July 3 for an Independence Day celebration, August 10, and August 17.
America's Friendliest Ballpark will be the home of many unique giveaways throughout the 2019 season, as the first 1,000 fans (unless otherwise stated) through the gates will receive items on various home dates. The giveaway items featured for the upcoming season include bobbleheads featuring Homer the Hound (June 9) presented by Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union, Javier Baez (July 14) presented by Senior Benefit Inc., Phillip Fulmer (August 10), and Kris Bryant (August 24) presented by Vanderbilt Mortgage & Finance. 
In addition, other giveaways for the 2019 season include Magnet Schedules (April 4 and April 5) presented by Pilot Food Marts, 20th Anniversary T-Shirts (April 6) presented by Hampton Inn and Suites, Easter Baskets (500 to kids 12 and under) (April 20) presented by U.S. Cellular, Light Sabers (May 4) presented by Regal, 20th Anniversary Card Set (June 30) presented by Sports Treasures and Pepsi, Fanny Packs (July 13) presented by U.S. Cellular, Lunch Box (500 to kids 12 and under) (July 26) presented by Hampton Inn and Suites, Orlando Trip Giveaway (August 17) presented by Gatlinburg Town Square by Exploria Resorts, and Fan Appreciation Meals (August 25).
Fans will be able to enjoy many different theme nights throughout the course of the 2019 season. Some of the top theme nights on the agenda for this season include Touch-A-Truck (April 7), Free Beer Nights (April 17 and August 14), Dog Days (May 5, June 9, and August 11), Star Wars Night (May 4) presented by Advance Auto Parts, Community Heroes Night (May 26) presented by Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union, Margaritaville Night (June 22), Independence Day Celebration (July 3) presented by Advance Auto Parts, 90's Night (July 13) , Kids Takeover Night (July 26) featuring an appearance from Peppa Pig, UT Night (August 10) presented by Advance Auto Parts, and an Orlando Trip Giveaway Night (August 17) presented by Gatlinburg Town Square by Exploria Resorts. 
The Smokies will also host $.50 Hot Dog Night (August 8), Senior Brunch (April 24) presented by Senior Benefit Inc., and Peanut Free Night (May 1) presented by the Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center.
The Smokies players will be wearing themed jerseys on specific nights throughout the 2019 season including Star Wars Night (May 4) presented by Regal benefiting United Way of Sevier County and Greater Knoxville, Making Strides Night (May 11) benefiting American Cancer Society, Margaritaville Night (June 22) benefiting Alzheimer's Tennessee, Independence Day Celebration (July 3) benefiting Remote Area Medical, 90's Night (July 13) benefiting Donate Life Tennessee, and UT Night (August 10) benefiting the Pat Summitt Foundation.
The team will also bring fans weekly promotional specials with Dollar Dog Night's presented by M3 Technology Group on Monday's, All-You-Can-Eat Wednesday's, Coors Light Thirsty Thursday's, and U.S. Cellular Family Fundays on Sunday's.

When tickets go on sale on March 13, fans will be able to purchase tickets for individual games at www.smokiesbaseball.com, by calling (865) 286-2300, or by visiting the Smokies Box Office between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Season Tickets, mini plans, and group outings are still available for purchase as well.
