For the third time this season a Tulsa Drillers hurler has been named a Texas Collegiate League Pitcher of the Week. Today, lefthander Colton Williams was named the North Division’s Pitcher of the Week following his stellar outing against Victoria this past Sunday at ONEOK Field.

Williams, who attends the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, had a dominant performance against the Victoria Generals on July 26. He pitched three perfect innings, not allowing a hit or a walk, while striking out five of the nine batters faced.

Williams has been outstanding since joining the Drillers this season. In 6.2 innings he has not allowed a hit or given up a walk and has recorded seven strikeouts.
