Drillers to Host RockHounds August 9-14

The Tulsa Drillers will host the Midland RockHounds (Oakland A’s) for the only time this season in a six-game series that will run from Tuesday, August 9 through Sunday, August 14 at ONEOK Field.

The first five games of the series will all begin at 7:05 p.m. with series finale on Sunday, August 14 set to start at 1:05 p.m. in what will be the final Sunday afternoon game of the season.

The Drillers and RockHounds played a six-game set in Midland earlier this season with Tulsa winning four of the six contests.

The home stand will feature the return of the Tulsa Noodlers, with the Drillers rebranding as the Noodlers for the final four games of the series. The team will be outfitted in custom lime green jerseys and pants with the Noodlers catfish logo featured prominently on the fronts of the jerseys.

In conjunction with the Busch Light Noodlers Weekend, there will be three Noodlers-themed giveaway items. The game on Thursday, August 11 will feature Thirsty Thursday as well as Chill-N-Reel, an all-in-one fishing reel and koozie. Saturday, August 13 will have a Noodlers Beach Towel giveaway, while Sunday, August 14 will have Noodlers socks for young fans.

Other promotions in the home stand will include $2 Tuesday on August 9, Paws and $3 White Claws on Wednesday, August 10 and Friday Night Fireworks on August 12. In addition to the Chill-N-Reel giveaway, the game on August 11 will also be a Thirsty Thursday.

The Drillers return to ONEOK Field as the home stand begins with many great deals on Cox $2 Tuesday! PAWS AND $3 WHITE CLAWS

Come enjoy a special night with your furry friend on Paws and $3 White Claws night at ONEOK Field presented by City of Tulsa: Save Our Streams, City Vet Hospital, 94.1 KXOJ and 100.9 KTSO. Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game and enjoy the action from the Ferguson KIA Lawns or the Budweiser Terrace. Dogs do not need tickets but must have a record of up-to-date rabies vaccinations and can enter with their owners through the Union Home Mortgage First Base Gate or the Oil Derrick Gate. Plus, fans ages 21 and over, can enjoy White Claws for just $3 per serving

DOG PARADE

Dogs and their owners are invited to walk a lap around the field in a pre-game dog parade. Lineup for the parade will start at 6:15 p.m. at Hornsby's Hangout on the left field concourse, with the parade starting at 6:30 p.m. Every dog that participates will receive a free flying disk, courtesy of Pet Supplies Plus.

It’s the weekend every Oklahoman has been waiting for as the Tulsa Noodlers are o“fish”ally BACK for one weekend only at ONEOK Field. This year, the Noodlers will be sporting custom lime green jerseys and pants! To kick off the Noodlers Weekend, fans can enjoy Busch and Busch Light for only $2 per serving in the left and right field concourses. Karbach Ranch Water cans will be on sale for only $3 each and Jukebock for just $4 per serving. In addition, Hop & Sting Brewing Co. will have Hop To Be Square and Aluminum Cowboy discounted to just $4 per serving. Soft drinks will also be available for only $2 per serving at the main concessions stands. There will also be some delicious food specials available through the weekend that will include fried catfish po boy’s and a fried catfish basket. NOODLERS CHILL-N-REEL GIVEAWAY

As seen on ABC’s Shark Tank, the first 1,000 fans, ages 21 and older, to enter through either the Union Home Mortgage, Oil Derrick or Osage Casino Hotel/Greenwood gates will receive a Noodlers Chill-N-Reel. Chill-N-Reel is a can holder with fishing line attached to the side so everyone can easily drink while they fish! There will also be Chill-N-Reel demonstrations on the concourse throughout the night.

FOX23 FRIDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS/BUSCH LIGHT NOODLERS WEEKEND

It’s day two of Noodlers Weekend at ONEOK Field and to add to the fun, there will be a catfish tank with live noodling demonstrations from Lee McFarlin during the game presented by Academy Sports & Outdoors. McFarlin is a 40-year veteran in the sport of noodling and has been featured on National Geographic and ESPN. The exciting night will begin with a Busch Scoreboard Bar Happy Hour from 6-7 p.m. where 20-oz. domestic draft beers can be purchased for just $4 each and craft drafts can be purchased for $6 each. The night will conclude with a Noodlers-themed Firework Show! The food specials will continue with fried catfish po boy’s and fried catfish baskets available at the Greenwood Smoke Shack. PSO SKILL CLINIC
Prior to the game, all youth baseball and softball players are invited to participate in the PSO Youth Skills Clinic. The Union Home Mortgage First Base Gate will open at 11:30 a.m. so young players can go on the field to learn baseball skills straight from the Drillers, compliments of PSO.
