After serving as the Lake Monsters Assistant General Manager 1997-1999 and the team's General Manager 2000-2009, C.J. returned to the team in 2021 as Senior Vice President. A 1992 graduate of Rice Memorial High School and 1996 graduate of Keene State College, C.J. was named 2003 New York-Penn League Executive of the Year Award and 2006 recipient of the Robert Julian Community & Baseball Service Award. After leaving Vermont in 2009, C.J. spent 10 years as Senior Vice President of the Connecticut Tigers.
Who are the Lake Monsters?
From 1994 to 2020 more than 2-million fans came through the gates of historic Centennial Field and each summer the Lake Monsters drew close to 100,000 fans to the ballpark to witness professional baseball, entertaining in-between inning promotions, and of course, the zany antics of everyone's favorite mascot, Champ!
Starting in 2021, the Lake Monsters enter a new chapter as a franchise as they transition from Minor League Baseball to Independent Baseball as a member of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
