Down East Wood Ducks and Mother Earth Brewing Announce New Partnership

Kinston, North Carolina - The Down East Wood Ducks announced today they have entered into a fourteen-year partnership with Mother Earth Brewing LLC (headquartered in Kinston, North Carolina) that includes the naming rights to the new in-park hospitality area currently under construction and is expected to be ready for 2018 Opening Day. The new area will be referred to as the Mother Earth Pavilion.

The agreement designates Mother Earth Brewing as the Official Beer of the Wood Ducks. In addition to Mother Earth Brewing brands being sold in the new hospitality area, Mother Earth Spirits (Whiskey, Rum and Gin) will also be served as the official house spirits in their respective categories.
"We are so happy to have Mother Earth on board as our naming rights partner of our new in-park hospitality area", said Neil Leibman, Wood Ducks President and Chairman of the Ownership Committee of the Texas Rangers.
"The Mother Earth Pavilion will dramatically enhance the game day experience for our Wood Ducks fan base and we believe will help attract other non-baseball events to the city. So it only made sense to partner with a company that has its roots in Kinston and has already done so much to attract tourists to our great city."
As part of the agreement, the $3 Mother Earth draft beer promotion, which took place on Friday nights last season, will continue throughout the term of the agreement. In addition, fans will now be able to bring an empty Mother Earth Brewing can to the ballpark on Friday nights and receive $3 off a game ticket as part of the new "Mother Earth Friday Night" promotion.
