Down East Wood Ducks Release 2018 Schedule

Kinston, North Carolina - The 2017 Carolina League Champions Down East Wood Ducks announced the release of their 2018 regular season schedule earlier today. The schedule, which features 70 regular season home games, will kick off on Thursday April 5th with a four game road series versus the Lynchburg Hillcats, the 2017 Carolina League Northern Division Champions.
The home opener for the Wood Ducks will take place on Thursday, April 12th versus the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, who the Woodies defeated in the 2017 Southern Division Series to win the championship.
"With the team winning the 2017 Carolina League Championship we have already seen a lot of interest in season tickets for 2018 so it is good to finally have a schedule so fans can plan trips to Kinston and attend games" said Wood Ducks General Manager, Wade Howell. "We are busy working on our 2018 Promotional Schedule now and expect to release that before the end of the year".
The Wood Ducks had previously announced that 2018 Season Tickets are on sale. Reserved Grandstand season tickets are available for $365 per seat and can be purchased by calling the Wood Ducks Team Offices at 252-686-5172.
