Steak, Rattle, & Grill stand announced for Timber Rattlers games this season
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The food and beverage department of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers has been garnering a lot of attention over the past few weeks with their creations for the 2015 season. They make more news today with the announcement of Steak, Rattle, & Grill, a new food stand to be located on the first base concourse of Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium and a few new food items.
"This is just another way we can offer the best concessions possible for our fans," said Ryan Grossman, Director of Food and Beverage for the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. "Steak, Rattle, & Grill will allow them to see us prepare hot, fresh food."
"Plus, they are going to want to see how some of these new sandwiches are constructed," he added.
The two sandwiches that have received the most attention this offseason were introduced by Tim Hansen, the team's executive chef, will be available at Steak, Rattle, & Grill. The Grilled Cheese Bacon Cheeseburger is a 1/3 pound burger with six slices of bacon, six slices of cheese, and two grilled cheese sandwiches for the bun. The Big Mother Funnel Burger is a one pound burger with mozzarella cheese and bacon with two funnel cakes for the bun. A ribeye sandwich option will also be available.
Fans will also have their choice of chicken or steak as a meat option for the following sandwiches at Steak Rattle, & Grill: Philly (Meat option with bell peppers, onions, and four-blend mozzarella), Snakebite (Meat option, Cajun seasoning, Sriracha Aioli, and pepper jack cheese), and Western (Meat option, BBQ sauce, Bacon, and cheddar cheese).
Fans may select one of two sides at the new grill: An order of Kettle Chips or an order of Macaroni & Cheese served in a souvenir helmet.
Two other locations in the stadium will be receiving new signature sandwiches.
The On-Wisconsin Burger will be available at the Brew City Grill, located at the end of the first base concourse. This burger is a 1/3 pound burger with a split brat, beer-battered onion ring, cheese curds, nacho cheese, and fried sauerkraut.
The Flamethrower is the new sandwich for the Festival Food Grill, located at the top of the left field grass berm seating. This sandwich combines grilled chicken and BBQ brisket with smoky ghost pepper cheese, and sriracha aioli.
The Timber Rattlers will begin their 21st season of baseball on April 9, 2015 with a road game. Wisconsin's home opener is Sunday, April 12 at 4:05 pm against the Peoria Chiefs. Individual game tickets for the 2015 season are on sale now.
Full season, partial season, and group ticket packages are also available for the 2015 season. Tickets packages and individual tickets are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person. Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
