Action-packed promotions throughout 2015

Christian Concert featuring Sanctus Real plus appearances by Hacksaw Jim Duggan, two "cool" princesses, minions, dinosaurs and more

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (March 18, 2015) - The Kannapolis Intimidators are packing a full season of fun into 70 home games at CMC-NorthEast Stadium in 2015. This year's promotions calendar is highlighted by a post-game concert from Grammy-nominated Christian rock band Sanctus Real on Saturday, July 18. The Intimidators promotions schedule features numerous kid-friendly days, including the return of Kid's Day Sundays presented by Cornerstone Church featuring pre-game player autographs, post-game kids run the bases, and all kids tickets only $5. Sunday, May 3, children can come see two of the "coolest" princesses around as Elsa and Anna visit the ballpark with their friend Olaf, who may finally find out what happens to a snowman in summer. Additional character appearances include Superhero Sunday on June 7 and Minions Day on July 19.

DinoParties "Dakota and Friends" dinosaurs will be back for multiple "Jurassic Ballpark" games in 2015, including April 18, May 1, May 2, May 16, and July 20. Children can get up close to life-like dinosaurs at the ballpark and watch as Dakota once again throws out a prehistoric first pitch.

The Intimidators have a record number of Thirsty Thursday with 13 on the schedule in 2015, including a string of four straight decade-themed Thursday night games starting with 60s Night on June 4. Seven days later, we will fast-forward 10 years and host a Salute to the 70s with Margaritaville Night on June 11. Professional wrestling fans will get the chance to meet former WWF and WCW legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan during 80s Night on June 18. U Can't Touch the following Thursday promotion as 90s Night features a Tribute to MC Hammer on June 25.

CMC-NorthEast Stadium will play host to nine fireworks shows in 2015, including our second annual All-American Community Celebration on Saturday, July 4. All eight other fireworks shows will follow Intimidators games, with the first fireworks night on Saturday, April 18. Each fireworks night will feature a different themed soundtrack, including an All-American rock and roll theme on July 3 following the Intimidators Independence Day Eve fireworks show.

In addition to lighting up the sky throughout the season, the Intimidators will have help you shade your eyes with our Sunglasses Giveaway Night (first 500 fans) presented by Cabarrus Eye Center on Friday, June 26. Several other giveaways are planned throughout the season including 2015 Magnet Schedules (Thursday, April 16 - Opening Night) and 2015 Team Photos (Sunday, May 17, and Sunday, May 24).

In addition to themed days and promotional nights, the Intimidators have great weekly specials to offer all season long. Once again, Mondays will feature our famous Belly Buster deal for all-you-can-eat for only $10 (excludes drinks, candy, and 3rd party vendors). Arby's Two-for-Tuesdays are back with 2-for-1 tickets for any fans that show an Arby's proof of purchase on game day, plus special 2-for-1 deals throughout the stadium. Tuesdays are also Senior Club Night with Bingo in the ballpark (don't forget to "boo" if we don't call your numbers).

Adults and kids aren't the only ones who will enjoy Intimidators baseball this season. Dogs are invited to our annual Bark in the Park presented by South Ridge Veterinary Hospital on Sunday, June 7, plus all animals are welcome to Pet-Friendly Weekend presented by Mars Petcare on June 26, 27, and 28.

The Intimidators are preparing for the 21st season of professional baseball in Kannapolis and 15th as a Chicago White Sox affiliate.
