SUMMARY

The Harrisburg Senators defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 7-5 on Tuesday night at Delta Dental Stadium. In the 2nd inning the Senators and Fisher Cats each traded runs, but the Fisher Cats pulled ahead 4-2 in the 3rd. The Senators took a short-lived 5-4 lead in the 6th before New Hampshire tied it again in the bottom of the frame. The Senators finally broke through in the 7th for good with two runs to make it 7-5.

THE BIG PLAY

After Brady House and Yohandy Morales led off the 7th inning with back-to-back singles, Dérmis Garcia drove them both home with a two-RBI double to break a 5-5 score and give the Senators the lead for good.

FILIBUSTERS

Yohandy Morales went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI… The Senators stole five bases, with Dylan Crews swiping two… Holden Powell and Nash Walters combined to throw three hitless innings in relief… Nash Walters recorded his 4th save and extended his scoreless inning streak to 11.2 innings… The Senators struck out 15 times, just shy of their season high of 16 against Erie on April 5th… Robert Hassell III went 1-for-5 with an RBI single in the 6th to extend his on-base streak to 20 games.
