Barons Return Home for Nine-Game Series

The Birmingham Barons are back in the Magic City this Thursday night as they begin a nine-game homestand. To start off the homestand, the Barons will play a four-game series against the Tennessee Smokies, Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs from July 18th-21st. Then the Chattanooga Lookouts, Double-A affiliate of

The Birmingham Barons are back in the Magic City this Thursday night as they begin a nine-game homestand. To start off the homestand, the Barons will play a four-game series against the Tennessee Smokies, Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs from July 18th-21st. Then the Chattanooga Lookouts, Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, will come to town as they begin a five-game series starting on Monday, July 22nd and ending on Friday, July 26th.
This homestand will feature the two Thirsty Thursdays, two Post-Game Fireworks Show, Sandlot Night, Wet Nose Wednesday, Christmas in July, Superhero Night, and the annual Diamond Dig.

Thursday, July 18th - Barons vs. Tennessee Smokies
Game Time: First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Regions Field gates will open at 6:00 p.m.

- Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $2 beer, wine, and soft drinks, courtesy of Miller Lite, Woodbridge Wines, & Buffalo Wild Wings.
- Masked Singer Night: Join us on Thursday as one lucky fan will have the opportunity to guess who is behind the mask based on clues, we give you presented by WBRC-Fox 6.
- Peanut Free Section: For tonight only, portions of section 101 will be Peanut Free thanks to Alabama Allergy and Asthma Center. 
- Egress Giveaway: BC Headache Powder.

- Sandlot Night: Join the Barons tonight and celebrate the hit baseball movie "The Sandlot" thanks to St. Vincent's Health System, a part of Ascension! Tonight, fans will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Chauncey Leopardi aka "Squints" from The Sandlot. Fans, will be allowed to get one picture and one autograph from Leopardi. The meet and greet session will begin at approximately at 6:30pm.
- Break'in BB McCoy:  Enjoy everyone's favorite break-dancing bat boy, BB McCoy as he returns to Regions Field!
Sunday, July 21st - Barons vs. Tennessee Smokies

Kids Run the Bases: As part of our Family Sunday's at Regions Field, kids will be allowed to run the bases at the end of the game thanks to Papa John's and Jack's. 
- Zoo Animals: Today, fans have the chance to meet zoo animals at the ballpark thanks to the Birmingham Zoo.

AAA Wednesday: Present your AAA card at the ticket office and receive $2 off a regular priced ticket, courtesy of AAA.
- Wet Nose Wednesday: Order your Wet Nose Wednesday Ticket Package and you and your fur baby will receive a general admission ticket and a dog toy at tonight's game thanks to Hollywood Feed! A portion of ticket sales will go toward that evening's charitable sponsor, Bama Bully Rescue.

- Christmas in July: The Christmas season is just five short months away and the Barons, as well as the Salvation Army Birmingham Center of Hope are ready to spread Christmas cheer for all to hear!   Enjoy Christmas music, ugly sweater contests, and other festivities throughout the evening. Fans are encouraged to wear red, green, and a Christmas stocking cap to fill the stadium with holiday spirit.

As construction continues in downtown Birmingham for the 59/20 Interstate improvements, the Alabama Department of Transportation requests drivers to take alternative routes to Regions Field. Fans can learn more about alternative routes by going to 59/20 Bridge Project website.
