Roscoe’s Reward Reading program, brought you by Stewart Richey, is a four-week program designed to encourage students grades K-6 to reach their reading goals. Each week, students will be assigned a reading goal that they must complete to move on to the next base. Once a student sees the checkered flag and races past home plate, they will be eligible to receive a free ticket to a Hot Rods game.

At the starting line, racers will receive the following:

· Step by step instructions on how to cross the finish line and reach their reading goals.

· Goals provided by their teacher or by a Hot Rods team member.

· Trackers to log the racers progress on their four-week journey.

After crossing the finish line, racers will need to return their tracking sheet to the Hot Rods Front Office to receive their ticket to a Hot Rods game. This can be completed by a teacher or by a parent/guardian. The trackers can be dropped off or mailed to our front office at 300 E. 8th Ave Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101 or emailed to Promotions Assistant, Leslie Martin ([email protected]).

Goals for each grade level

Kindergarten – 15 minutes a night

1st Grade – 15 minutes a night

2nd Grade – 15 minutes a night

3rd grade – 15 minutes a night

4th Grade - 30 minutes a night

5th Grade - 30 minutes a night

6th Grade– 30 minutes a night

*Exceptions* - some students can have their goals modified if we see fit.
