Captains Announce Friday Night Post-Game Concert Series

March 6, 2013

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, are pleased to announce the addition of nine post-game concerts that will follow the club's Friday night games beginning on May 10.  Legendary local bands will perform outside the Corona Castaways Bar in the left field corner of Classic Park at the conclusion of the post-game fireworks shows that follow each Friday game, until approximately midnight.  The Captains will kick-off the concert series with a special Opening Night concert as well on April 4.

Fans with tickets to Captains games on the designated Friday dates can stay and watch the concerts with no additional charge.  Castaways Bar will remain open for the duration of each post-game show and a limited food menu will be available.

"The bands that we have booked have been very successful in the Cleveland music scene for years and we can't wait for them to bring their talents and energy to Classic Park for some great nights of music", said Captains General Manager Brad Seymour.

The scheduled line-up of bands for the 2013 season include:
