(Eastlake, OH) (Updated 3/29) - The Lake County Captains, the Class-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, is announcing its complete 2017 promotional schedule this week. Today the Weekly Theme Nights will be highlighted.
The popular Monday Buck Night presented by the Ohio Lottery will return this year and will feature $1 Five Star Brand Hot Dogs, soda and domestic draft beer. Fans can also present any non-winning Ohio Lottery ticket at the Classic Park box office and receive a $1 discount to that night's game. The first 100 fans age 18 or older will also receive an Ohio Lottery Instant Ticket.
Tuesday's fans can support a local charity partnered with the Captains. All charity partners this year will be hunger-related and fans who bring one non-perishable food item to the box office will receive a free ticket to the game. Each week the charity may change, but the free ticket offer will remain the same with support of the chosen charity.
Thirsty Thursdays presented by Labatt will feature a pre-game happy hour featuring $1 Labatt Blue draft beer and $2 off craft beer at the Corona Castaways Bar. Fans can also enjoy half-price domestic drafts and fountain soda until 9 PM. All Thirsty Thursdays presented by Labatt are in conjunction with ESPN 850 WKNR.
Date Night is also back for the 2017 season. Each Thursday night game, fans can purchase two tickets for $44 and receive admission to The Officer's Club suite, as well as an all-you-can-eat buffet and non-alcoholic beverages. Fans who purchase tickets in the Officer's Club or anywhere on the suite level have access to the Captains Quarters Bar, Presented by Labatt located on the suite level.
The Captains have scheduled ten Friday Fireworks Nights, presented by Highland Springs, throughout the 2017 season beginning on May 12. Nine Saturday Fireworks Nights, presented by Monreal Funeral Home and Cremation Service, will also take place beginning with the May 13 Captains game.
As part of the 21 scheduled fireworks shows this season, the Captains will also host one special Sunday fireworks show on August 6 and one Monday night fireworks show on July 3, both presented by Discount Drug Mart.
Sundays will once again be Family Fun Sundays. New for the 2017 season, all Family Fun Sundays are powered by NOPEC. Family Fun Sundays powered by NOPEC will include a pre-game catch on the field, pre-game player autograph sessions, concourse entertainment and activities and the opportunity for kids to run the bases after the game. The Kids' Zone area will also be discounted to $5 all game. All Family Fun Sundays powered by NOPEC are in conjunction with WGAR 99.5.
The Captains will feature three Senior Days presented by Wickliffe Country Place. The three dates for the Senior Days are Wednesday, May 31, Wednesday, June 14 and Tuesday, August 8. All Senior Day games will begin at 12:00 PM in 2017.
Bark in the Park returns this year, presented by 305 Animal Hospital. Bark in the Park will be June 4, July 24 and August 31. Fans that purchase an $8 ticket for Bark in the Park will also need to purchase a $5 Pooch Pass for their dogs. Fans can purchase tickets for the Bark in the Parks using the promo code POOCH. Portions of the proceeds will benefit the Lake and Geauga Humane Societies.
