Mudcats and Woodpeckers Rained Out in Fayetteville
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Tonight's game between the Carolina Mudcats and Fayetteville Woodpeckers at SEGRA Stadium in Fayetteville, NC has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader Saturday, with seven-inning games beginning at 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in Fayetteville.

The rain-out comes at the beginning of Carolina's seven game, eight day, road trip through Fayetteville and Myrtle Beach. It also comes after the Mudcats defeated the Woodpeckers 7-5 last night in the first ever game at SEGRA Stadium in downtown Fayetteville. The Mudcats lead the current series 1-0 and have won three straight.
The road trip will continue with games two and three of the current series in Fayetteville on Saturday, the series finale on Sunday and then a three game series at Myrtle Beach beginning on Tuesday following Monday's scheduled off-day.
Carolina's next home stand begins on Friday, April 26 with game one of a three game series versus the Potomac Nationals. The home stand will last just three games and will start with House Autry Friday Night Fireworks and then continue with AgCarolina Farm Credit Agricultural Night featuring a "Grown in Carolina" souvenir t-shirt giveaway for the first 1,200 fans through the Five County Stadium gates.
The next home stand will conclude with Wake Med $5 Five County Family Sunday featuring $5.00 box seat tickets for fans residing in one of Five County Stadium's five counties including Wake, Franklin, Nash, Johnston and Wilson.
